Hard Rock Okie

Here there fellow Okies! We just bought some land on the Illinois River so that's going to be our main destination this summer. We've been using the popup camper, but last weekend scored a 85 Southwind. Oh, and a Honda TRX300 a couple weeks ago. So we're ready for some floating, fishing and four wheeling! I say Hard Rock Okie because I can see the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino sign from my back yard

Based in McAlester. On our way to Alaska. Been gone since May 3rd, 2 more months to go. The Rockwell RV Park on I-40 and Rockwell isn't too bad and priced right. We stay there when in the city.

You're driving to AK? Heard it's a beautiful journey through Canada. My wife is from Wasilla and she's taken the trip with her folks when she was younger. Now I've been to AK a couple times but would love to someday take a nice long road trip up there. Please post some of your pics!!

Now that school has started we stay closer to home usually at Birch cove COA or Osage hills State Park. Ronda is a teacher and we make more of the long trips in the summer. Osage hill is open all year around and we have a three season MH. I have heated tanks as long as the winter time does not drop to low. The park is like having our own place in the colder months
