Well, I've done it! All trailers are winterized. I hated to do it but thought I'd better, just to play safe.

It won't be long before the Boat/Rv show in January. Burrr...

Everybody have a great holiday and a fantastic new year.

Well we have had a low of 42 dF here so far and I'll just wait and see. Most years I do not even drain the thing. Oh winter is so tough....

Having lived up north and farther north than Oklahoma, I just had to rub some salt in the open wound.....

Have not winterized, proably wont. Have 500 gallon propane tank hooked up and set thermostat on 36 degrees for furnace. that way when we got those pretty days at the lake(keep trailer on pad at the lake) we just go out, turn up thermostat and enjoy the lake and wildlife that is around when no one else is. Have a great holiday season and see you all in the spring. Gene

There's always one! We all probably wish we could do that Gene but mine has found a home in the garage for the winter. One of these days.......

Well, so much for this topic!

Anyway, we are no longer winterized in the Warrior. I lived in it for the last week, hope the rest of you have done as well as I have. I used it for the genset to power the frig and stuff as well as living in it for the last week. We have major damage here to tree's and some roof damage but other than that we are good. Charley and her dad stayed at friends until power came back on in Tulsa.

Bottom line is we are all well and planning to start the cleanup process as soon as the weather helps. Hope you all are in as good a shape. Wood for sale???

Hey there! Just checking to see who is posting from around here. Good to see y'all!

We had no power from last Monday morning until exactly 5:40pm today. It wasn't easy but we did manage to buy a generator so we made it OK. We have a gas water heater so we had hot water, limited power since we shared our 6500 watts with two neighbors but that way we all managed a little better.

Our HUGE weeping willow tree disenegrated and one very large limb managed to puncture our patio cover in several places, even going completely through it AND the eave of the roof right about our french doors. Thank goodness we had the patio cover otherwise this past week would have been a LOT colder.... that limb would have gone right through the glass of the patio doors!

Don't need any firewood Tom LOL Between the two houses we have plenty. I am thinking it won't be difficult to find wood to donate to the campfires next year.

Well, I am going to go play some games online for a few minutes. Sure is nice to have all the modern conveniences restored.

Glad to hear you all are ok Cat. Yes, having all the modern conveniences does spoil us doesn't it. I'll still have to complain about the electric bill though, just my nature.
