Good Sam Rally?

Okies,

Have any of you been to any of the Good Sam Rallies?

I received info on a "mini rally" July 20-23 at the Citizens Pottawatomie Campground in Shawnee.

I have never been to a RV rally and wondering what others think about them.

And, what about the Citizens Pottawatomie Campground... any experience with this campground?

Thanks!

Some folks love them and some folks hate them. About the only way to know for sure is to go to one and check it out. If it's close and not too expensive it will at least be a good little trip and you may turn out to be one of those who love it.

Have been to both. The state rally was last year at Shawnee was the first. I enjoyed it and will be going back this year along with some club members.
Went without knowing a lot about them, wanted to see what it was like.
Enjoyed the entertainment that was nightly.
Only way to find out is to go, note... they have daily pass you can purchase if you don't want to bring your rig, so you could go and check it out that way.

Been to several, both FMCA and GS. Try it, you just may find you like them, we did, or at least I did.

Scoutdad,
We are going to try to make it to the rally in October.
We live about 20 miles from where the rally will be held, but we will still bring the MH.
We will have to meet up, while we are there.
