I had no idea that its been two years since I last posted, the new password thing only lasted for a day or two so I thought that was too much trouble to just talk on the net? I have been missing you guys, not even much posting from you so I guess a lot of guys had the same problems. I see that the TX bunch are still at it strong. The ole CHUCKWAGON has been sitting around a lot this year, the power steering/brake booster pump is leaking like mad and none can be found. We went to Ft Cobb lake last summer and summer before last quite a bit, our daughter and son in law are camp hosts at the mariana camp ground last year and this year so that makes it funner. The pup is a three year old mellowed out companion now and he likes the geese, they taste like kitties. Gwen said I better get the MH fixed or get a different one so we don`t have to stay home any more. I still read Tioga George, Weng, Meanderings of Wanderwolf and Possum Living so I still know how to boondock. ha

see yall in the funnies,
Warren eieio

Hi Warren and Gwen,
Good to see you two on here. We check every now and then to see if
anyone has checked in. We are doing very little camping but plan to do
more this summer but will have to stay closer to home because of the
terrible gas prices, plus we are not getting any younger.
Try to keep in touch.

Well as I live and breathe, after all this time I figured everyone had moved on. Posted a few times but never any response so just gave up. It is REALLY good to hear that you all are still around and kicking. We just picked up a new tow vehicle, been outfitting it and getting ready to do some traveling/camping. Maybe we can hook up somewhere this year.

Hello Everyone! Good to hear that everyone is still around.
Norma and I haven't camped for a couple of years and we've sold our motorhome.
If you guys get together sometime we'll try to day-trip it over to see you.
We sure miss all the laughin' and talkin' and what-ever!!

Dan, good to hear from you. We're focused on getting our big regional Corvette race done the weekend of April 15-17 then hope to turn our attention to doing some camping before hitting the road for a month this summer. That will be a warmup for taking next winter off, I've had enough of the cold and plan to try out several of the warmer areas over the winter months.

If we go out somewhere we'll let you know.

Hey all, There are scratch marks on the walls here at McRanch, it has been a week now that I can not-- bend, lift, smile big,get wet, move quickly, you know. Now that the week has gone by, I can now do the above mentioned things that amuse me and Gwen has stopped moaning in the fetus position ha. When I get too stressed out she just throws the pup on me and he gives me a lickin.
This weather is causing the wants to get r done at the campsite. It is looking like we might have to come up with a pair of mules to pull the camper around ( how bout 100 miles to the bale and 5 gallons of water). I don`t know the exact amount because we never personally used that mode of travel, and grandma aint talking.

Yall take care and we will see you down or up the road. eieio

Hey all, welcome back from the dead!! I thought I had run all of you off. Been hanging out in the chat room most evenings, come on up and join us in the chatters room. Sure is good to hear from everyone. We spent some time in south texas this winter and planning on a big trip to the north and west this summer. Come back often!

Hey, all yall might get a chuckle outta my last misadventure. I bought this power wheel chair on craigslist and it is one of those for living on, or in. This has larger and wider drive wheels than my other one, also power lift leg rests and a power lift seat back that lets down to make a bed. Well I have no need for all that extra equipment so I took it off, clear down to the frame, motors and batteries and I noticed that for such large drive wheels which are on the back, the anti-wheelie bars were very small. So anyway I put a seat on it that came off a three wheel scooter (from a garage sale). I climbed aboard, got the joy stick in my lap and away we went, boy this thing can make some tracks.
In the house we went and was making out pretty good with the control, not dinging any door frames and the like, even with that control box wobbling around in my lap instead of mounted on the chair arm. I am taking it into the shop to properly fasten the seat and control but on the way I was having such a good time that I passed up my crutches standing against the computer desk, so I had to turn around in the shop and go get them. From the shop to the dining / computer room is about a two inch threshold to climb and the casters got up there but when the drive wheels got there the casters went up, over, back and slammed me onto my back with more gusto than I have been slammed before. My back, front, neck and knee now hurt like the dikens. How was your day?

Warren, I think you'd better watch your mode of transportation, that can hurt!

Gene, great to hear from you, where are you all heading (out west) as we are planning a trip out that way this summer for a family reunion as well as some off road driving? Our problem is we can't be gone more than about a month which sucks. I really hate to pay the fuel for the return trip!!!

Warren, Ann, Gene, Norma and Dan, (and Tom and Charlie), sure glad to hear from all of y'all. I was beginning to wonder if Oklahoma was still up there.

Take care.

Ken, we just about dried up and blew away!! Drought has been terrible, we lost all of our wheat and corn crops, hopping to get a little milo or cotton planted now that we finally got at least a little rain.

Tom, think we are heading west about June 12 or 13. Niece getting married June 11 so cant go til then. Broke the motorhome out and went to Branson this weekend and all went well, EXCEPT I burned out the water pump I guess but we had hookups so no big deal. Got a new one ordered today, be in Thursday and then to work putting it in.

Good to see some action back on here, NOW KEEP IT UP YOU GUYS.
