Mike, thanks for stopping by, it was good to see you.
Boy, this trip started out bad and ended bad, the only good part was the middle. First crack out of the box, got there, found one open space among the good spots so took it, unhitched, and while leveling the trailer the landing gear on the left side stripped the nut on the jackscrew which caused the trailer to partially fall on that side. That's enough to get the old heart racing since you are standing there on that side holding the switch when the big BOOM comes. After assessing the situation, realising my two 12 ton jacks were left at home in the Warrior, it was off to Wally World to buy some more jacks, then to the lumber yard for more blocks. Finally got it jacked up and close to level and blocked up so it was stable, so much for that.
Fishing went well the next few days until the weather turned nasty Wednesday afternoon, then I came down with something Thursday (cold/flu) and basically had to sit in the trailer and watch TV until Saturday while taking all the over the counter drugs I could find. Finally had to drag myself up and get things packed Saturday and Sunday morning, got it jacked up and on the truck and made it home. Then I had to block it up and put the jacks under it to get it off the truck after parking it in the garage. Needless to say its been slow going unloading but I am starting to feel better today.
It's sure nice to be home!!!

Hope your feeling better Tom. Didn't you have any of Granny's cold/flu medicine in a brown jug?

You know, I did have some. I think my mistake was using it BEFORE I got sick, not after! I'm back to about 75% now so its getting better.

Well, as an update, I'm back to as good as it gets, considering my age and habits. Had to go to Tucson this week, got back in time for all the storms last night, O' lets not forget descending down through the storm, I'm sure glad those planes are built well and the pilots are really good. I've been soliciting info on the Ultra-Fab jacks that I'm thinking of changing over to on the Terry but haven't come up with too much input but what I did get was positive. Onward and upward!
By the way, got a chance to drive out to Quartsite and look it over while in Arizona. That is quite a place but I don't know if I could stand the dirt/sand that would be present all the time while you were there not to mention, after the big show, what would you do for entertainment if you were spending the winter there??? Hummmmm!

Heck Tom, if you want dirt/sand blowing into everything, all you need to do is drive to western Oklahoma and spend a few days at the Little Sahara S.P.
A lot less fuel $$ spent.

Yeah but I think Western Okla in the winter might be a little too cold.
