Its Time
Yes, its that time again when we hit the road for family reunion in New Mexico. Usually I'm looking forward to getting out there and out of the Oklahoma heat in July but the forecast around here is looking pretty good, at least short term. Ah well, got to go anyway, you all have fun around here and we'll see ya in a couple of weeks.

Well, would you believe we are in Albq on the west mesa, be here a couple of days and then headed back for home, temps are in the low 70's here this evening, 50-80 down in Datil. Ran through a bunch of rain coming up but no problems so far. First time back on the grid since Datil, you know its really strange being off the grid with no cell, no Internet, kind of nice!!! Then again you start to have withdrawals but what the heck.

Made it back, no problems. That's the way you like to see it. Now to just get unpacked, cleaned up, caught up, and get those 30lbs of Hatch green chilies we brought back all done up and in the freezer.

Tom, it is bad to have to come back to reality. Wouldn't it be nice to just stay gone?

Yes Ken, and the fact the heat has returned just makes it all the more real. Yuck!
