Hi!!

Glad to see you made it over for a visit. We are just back from a campout with two very nice couples from this forum... one of them already said welcome to you.

Tom is a pretty good guy even when his knee hurts. I hope you didn't overdo things this weekend Tom, I speak knee pain fluently and they can REALLY hurt!

I hope y'all will be able to camp with some of the Okie Boomers soon!

Welcome Nitty Gritty! As you can see from the activity here we have been kind of shut down since winter started, not too much going on but that will change when warmer weather starts. We'd be glad to have you join us anytime. If you've checked the other threads you probably noticed that we will have a rally the 1st weekend in May down at Thackerville with the Texas Boomer bunch. We'll probably put something together up this way before then so keep watching and welcome again.

Hi Nitty Gritty,
someone needs a big stick and get the Oklamoma boomers out of there Dens
Hey Tom,
just got back after a week with the Texas
boomers. We had a great time. Kris did a good
job with the rally. And the weather was great in the 70s

It would feel good to try out some 70's, I'm sick of winter already but have too much to do so I'm not ready for spring either. Besides the yard and all that mess I started a complete bathroom renovation, have the whole thing tore out wall to wall and getting ready to build it back with all new stuff. New floor goes in tomorrow, then walls and shower, and then,,,and then...Maybe by the time the weather permits yard work again I can get most of the bath done. Glad you'all enjoyed the Texas rally.

Hey Nitty Gritty

Good to have you aboard. Hope to get to meet you guys this summer. All we need to do is start trying to set some dates. Our first weekend will be March 21st thru the 23rd in OKC. My Mom & Dad's 50th wedding anniversary party.

I'm open for April except for the 18-20th weekend. We have our Corvette race that weekend at Hallett and since I'm governor this year I have to be there. Pick yer poison!

By the way, congrats on your folks and their 50th. Wow!

I'll get with Cheryl and pick a date. How does Osage Hills S.P. sound?

As long as I can get the Warrior in there that will be fine. I've got Charley checking her calendar to make sure she's not tied up. Since Easter is early this year April might be nice.

Hey Tom, What about this place, Heyburn Lake, it would make it easier for our folks out West to get to, (Warren, Pawnee Dan and maybe others). It has long sites and 50 amp service.
Use to be a State Park but now is a Corp.

Heinz, I'm gonna leave it up to you all to decide, makes no difference to me. You and Mike hash it out and tell me where to go.
