Ok, we'll make this the official notice.
Pawnee lake campground, October 20-22, 2006
I believe most of you can find Pawnee, Ok and I'm enclosing a link to a map of the area showing the lake. The main thing to watch for is the road just outside town that is almost straight ahead as the highway turns to the right. Its only a short distance from the grocery store and the dollar general. Thats your exit off the main road. (18) (Pawnee lake) We'll try and get the area towards the back where we were last time if its available, otherwise look for a irv2 sign.
What say we do something different this time for Dinner Saturday evening, If you'all will bring the side dishes, I'll bring the hamburgers and the stuff to put on them, AND, do the cooking. If anyone can't or doesn't want to eat burgers, then I guess you'll need to bring something for yourself.
Please post and let me know if you are coming so I can plan the burgers. Others might want to post what they are bringing too so we won't duplicate things. Thanks!
Any questions, pm me or post them. Hope some of our long lost friends can make this one.

Hi Tom,
Sorry we won't be able to make Pawnee on that weekend. We have a family reunion here at Wister then. I'd be better off with you guys I will have a house full here and the reunion isn't here at the house. Hope you have a good turnout. Hopefully some of the lost will come back. Guess we will see you and Charline at Canton. Did you get any of Cat's cookies at the last rally, we missed them but Cat: we will be looking for them at Canton

Sorry you can't make that weekend Betty. The reunion will probably be fun though.
Yes, I did get A cookie, but I think Cat needs to make more this time.

Cookies?! I can make some cookies, no problem.... Y'all can depend on me. You're talking about in Texas, right? We aren't gonna be able to come out and play in October... since we are camping in Arkansas the weekend before. It's a shame that working is certainly cutting into our social life.
I am sorry that Betty & Heinz somehow missed the cookies when we were together at Ft. Gibson. We got into them sort of late Friday night as I remember. OOPS!

Hi Mike
I'll be out of town next week but should be able to get on every now and then. I was hoping to get down there Thursday night but we'll probably be lucky to get there by dark Friday since I'll be gone until Thursday night late.
How about the rest of you, is anyone else going to try and come, I know Okiecat and Heinz can't but it would sure be nice if some of you can make it. Let us know, time's running out.

Hey Tom
Its Sunday the 15th and the best I can tell is there is just two of us. Since I'm new here, not sure how many folks we have in the group.
I guess you won't have to work real hard at cooking dinner.
Mike

Hi Mike
I talked to Warren(wagm) and they are going to try and make it but looks like thats about it unless someone pops up at the last moment. What the heck, we're going anyway. We'll throw some other stuff together besides the burgers, don't know what yet, it'll be a last minute deal since the wife and I will both get back in town Thursday night. Wish they'd lift that burn ban, a good campfire would sure be nice.

I'll get Cheryl to make some type of cookie. We are not allowed at many gatherings of friends unless she bakes something and brings them.
