Ok Okie Boomers, we are back. A little over 2700 miles in 25 days, spent all our time either boondocking or in BLM campgrounds without hookups except for Albuq. Charlene took 586 pictures, I shot almost 2 hrs of video.

Used 3 tanks of propane, 13.5 gal of fuel for the genset, it ran 22 hrs. It was COLD up at 8k feet in Datil, then when we moved to Moab it was just as cold. I'm ready for warm weather!!!

We played on trails that we didn't have any business on (try steelbender for example), found that we didn't have enough Jeep for the "Difficult" rated trails in Moab, only the easy and moderate ones.

Played with snow showers going into Moab and while going through Arches National Park. Had some 60 mph North winds while in Moab, ah, what fun. It was a fantastic trip. Avg'd 10.1 pulling 24k gross and I am so glad to get home.

Visited places in NM down in the Gila National forest including Mogallon, a historic mining town turned artists community, only problem was we went through during the night as we had just spent 7 hrs on trails getting there and were anixous to just get out of the woods, let alone the switchbacks out of there in the fog that had huge dropoffs which we couldn't see.

Utah had all sorts of places, Vally of the God's, Monument Vally, Gooseneck's state park, Natural Bridges state park, Sand Island BLM campground, all from Bluff, Utah.

Then Moab, Deadhorse Point state park, Arches National park, and a few trails like hurrah pass, Chicken Corners, and Steelbender. Then we went into the La Sal National forest up into the snow and played there, up to 4 inches worth.

Now its time to get back to reality, work, and all that stuff. Yuk!

It's nice to see that everyone has had a great time while we've been gone, played together well and all that good stuff.

Well, anyway, I'm back to stir things up! Now, where's my winterizing stuff for the trailers. Just kidding, there has to be at least a weekend or two to go camping before it starts freezing, right???, RIGHT!!!!

Thanks Don

Yeah, I noticed the lack of posts. I guess if I'm not around to stir things up...well, so be it. Hung any chickens lately?

Hey there Tom! Good to see you posting.

I haven't stopped by much lately. I am happy to see y'all had such a great trip.

So after that long trip, how is "our" truck doing?

Hi Cat, "our" truck is doing fine, REALLY needs a bath, actually a full detail, And it wants an oil change. Imagine that!

Took me awhile to get the last reply posted and I see Heinz junped in there. Boy, would I like to go to Ark, however, I guess I'd better stick around and get things ready for winter since I have to go to Minnesota the first of Dec.
