Decided to move this to a new discussion so as not to confuse with previous post...

Half price weekends at this campground are May 2-4, May 30-June 1 & June 6-8.

If anyone wants to save some $$, those are excellent weekends to enjoy their facilities & either pocket your savings or spend them on some delicious amish goodies from the local bakers.

Dave & I will be on Maple site #1 May 30-Jun 1. At $45 per night for a fhu/50amp site, 1/2 price is a bargain!

This coming weekend is not looking good. 60% chance of rain the whole weekend here in NE Ohio. The first 2 weekends in June are open for me. We'll keep it in mind. Robert likes the mini golf and the disc golf there at Whispering Hills. In the spring I usually make a decision by that Wed. if it looks like a nice weekend....We would have gone out this weekend but I will pass.....

WH is usually not all that busy that 1st weekend after Memorial Day, even for half price. I guess most folks were there for the holiday & don't come out again so soon after. You could probably wait until the last minute to decide.

Last year (we were there the wknd after the holiday, too) there were a whole slew of w/e sites open just down from our site on Maple & also behind us on Elm & there were lots of the fhu sites open across from us on Hemlock, Hickory & Sycamore, too.

Jim, even though the weather isnt looking too good for this weekend, I will be out there amoungst the rain drops!! I am on a "recon" mission for future events. Details to follow.

Jim your not buying into these weather predictions are you? Two weeks ago the weekend was suppose to be a wash out and it was gorgeous except for about 3 rain drops. Last Saturday was suppose to be a washout and it was spectacular.

Actually the cat was already let out of the bag in the National Rally forum.

Now a 80% chance of the "R" word. And throw in the "T" word for good luck. Where ya going Mike? Evergreen? Ya, I camped 2 weeks ago at Findley SP. Fact it was so nice that Thursday I made it a 3 day weekend. Diane & Robert didn't join me till Sat. morning. I had 2 days to myself sitting by the fire catching up on my reading.

Not only will we all be there, we'll all have assignments, I'm sure. We're gonna be the official hosts, so that means it'll be a working rally for us.

Jim, quit talking that 4-letter word! At least in my area we seem to have fallen into the rut of nice during the week & rain on Fridays & Saturdays. It's gonna have to quit that pattern 'cuz even a 38ft moho is cramped quarters when you're stuck inside the whole time.
