Several of us will be at Logan/Hocking Hills KOA (formerly Scenic View Family CG) for the 4th of July holiday weekend (July 2-5) 2010. Anyone care to join us?

Sorry, working for Giant Eagle and the 4th falling on Sunday, I have to be back at work on Sunday night. So I would only have a 2 day weekend.
While there check out Conkles Hollow, which is about 3 miles NW. of Hocking Hills. There are 2 trails there. One goes along the upper rim (2 mile loop) and the other (1/2 mile) runs up the middle of the lower valley to a water fall and cave. On many past trips to Hocking Hills we have passed it up and this past June checked it out. Was well worth it. Cave at the end of trail

That's a rip, Jim. How unpatriotic of them to make you work a holiday weekend - especially THAT one.
Hocking Hills Canopy Tours is a new (as in this year) zip line in the area. It was featured on our local news as one of the station's 1-day trip segments. Sure looks like fun!
Oh, & here's a general website for the area. If anyone needs any restaurant info, just ask - we've been to the majority of 'em.

There is 5 families so far. We would love to have more join us. I am looking forward to trying out the campground and of course, the area itself always has many things to do for all.

What a coincidence that I just joined this web site today and Pond Piggies also, and this was the first posting I came to. The funny thing is that was the first reservation I made for our new camper was to be at that KOA for the fourth of July from the Friday before to the Friday after. My two neighbors are coming along with their RV's also and all of this was planned at least a month ago. I am definitely looking forward to meeting all of you there. Ryan and Holly Shanks

Great! We look forward to meeting you. You can check out my review in the Campgrounds section.
Don't bother to bring bikes to this campground. Very hilly & all roads are gravel. The pool is really nice though!

I didn't see anyone other than staff riding around in them. You should call the campground to find out.
