If anyone is planning on going to either of these fine Ohio establishments and have a fur kid in tow: Be sure to check out the Dog Park at Alum Creek!
Lots of space for them to stretch their legs and/or go for a swim...Very nicely kept and well thought out!

Is that new at AC, John? How cool! Really nice they've got separate areas for little dogs & big dogs. Your title suggests Delaware too. Do they have something similar?

I added Delaware because it's only a 15-20 minute ride to get to the park from there....
The Dog Park is only at Alum Creek but when we do Delaware again; we'll be visiting just because it was so nice to let Sadie run off some of her puppy energy and it's not that far.

I get it. It would be very easy to take the pup to AC even when you're at Delaware.

You know, the more we're travelling to other states' state parks, the better I'm liking OH's. For example, the parks in MI, IN & WV we've been to all charge a visitor fee just for entering. Last fall I was talking with a ranger at a MI state park & she was amazed OH doesn't charge. I hope they never do.
