Hi, Folks:

Seems to me I have a reservation for this place on Labor Day weekend (Site# 55) along with some of the Pond Piggies.

I thought I'd start a thread for posting anything important (like breaking a leg) since there were a number of "walking wounded" on Memorial Day.

No, actually, I'm hoping for a great weekend to make up for the disasterous Memorial Day (that I had).

Can't wait to see everyone again! I'll bring the Cheetos.

BTW- It took me until after Fourth of July to eat that bag of Cheetos I bought for Memorial Day weekend.

Hopefully this rain pattern will have gotten out of here by then along with the humidity.
I'm glad the Cheetos you are bringing are fresh.
So far, I believe we are all healthy.
See you there.

You guys all have a wonderful time. Too bad we'll miss it. If anyone can tune in the OSU game on Sat, wave at any shots of the crowd. Dave & I will be in there amongst the 100,000+ fans...somewhere.

GO BUCKS!!!

Wow!

I went over the self-store today to check on the TT after all the storms we've been having recently. The thermometer on our atomic clock said it was 100 degrees inside; It felt like it too. I didn't stay inside very long and everything looked OK.

We should be there about 4:30- 5 ish depending on traffic. I'll bring 2 boxes of firewood and a box of kindling......In there brochure it said something about "no rug" mats. Are the plastic / vinyl one's we all use OK? Or does that mean no outdoor mats of any type?

If I remember correctly, they prefer no rugs at all. But I think you are ok with the kind we use that dont hurt the grass. But I also dont think you will need one. The grass is good and dont usually have any bad spots.

Also, everyone, I am sending you guys an email.

Wow! That was fun. We need to go there again sometime. I haven't been to a place that had diving boards in a long, long time.

We stocked up on Tim Horton's coffee (and lunch) on the way home.

... maybe next year...

Yea, it is a different place than we usually get to. Glad you enjoyed it. The weather sure was perfect.
