Bemidji north and east cg's?
Currently in Bemidji, Mn, and we want to see more of Minnesota up towards Voyeger natural park, or somewhere in the north woods, and then explore Lake Superior in our 43 ft 5th wheel. Anybody have any ideas? I'm not finding hardly any campgrounds in this part of the world.

Fall Lake Campground north of Ely is rated as one of the top campgrounds in the country. It is half in and half out of the Boundary Waters.

Also there are several great spots on Lake Vermillion.
In Duluth we stay at Indian Point Campground. It is within the city, but still isolated.

There are lots of state parks and state forest (no hook ups) campgrounds up north. We have not had much trouble.

I haven't found any state parks that will accommodate a 43 ft 5th wheel. Also with this heat lately, and no generator for the ac's, I don't think that will work.

There is Burlington Bay Campground in Two Harbors, Mn, Lamb's Resort in Schroeder, Mn, and the Municipal Campground in Grand Marais, Mn. All are on Hwy 61 and on the lake side of the road.

Thanks for the info. We found a spot in International falls, then we've got a spot in the UP of Mi. Most places we have tried are full, or say they don't gave ro for our rig. Surprised there are so few Cg's I'm this beautiful state. So few cg's, and soany rv'ers. We're plugging away. We have reservations, all the way to St. Ignace, Wi.
