It's billed as the biggest indoor show in the US. Can anyone compare it to any of the Detroit shows? Website says 800 units. Novi spring show says 300, Cleveland would be more than twice as big?

I heard a few weeks ago that the biggest dealer in Northeast Ohio (Sirpilla's / Camping World RV) was not going to be at the show. Looking at the list of dealers in this years show from the IX Center website they are not listed. http://www.ohiorvshow.com/dealers.html I wonder why ??? I did get a flier in the mail a week ago advertising Sirpilla's own "RV Super Show" at their dealership Jan. 1-6 2008. Hum???? What's up....with that. Maybe I'll head to the Pittsburgh show....

Don't know where the're going to get 600 r/v's out of the dealers listed.
Sirpilla's took up more floorspace then anyone in the past and if they're not participating it's gonna be a skinny show!

Me thinks that press release was written hoping Sirpillas would change their mind....Bet there will be a lot lower end coaches this year....
I sure wish they'd get Travel Supreme, NuWA, EXCEL, MOBILE SUITES etc. and a few other of the upper end 5th wheel coaches to participate!
Then they'd have a SUPER SHOW!

Sometimes I think the press releases are written more for hype than accuracy. It does sound like the Cleveland show is big as far as the square footage available for the show.

I was just looking at the Pittsburgh literature Pittsburgh show and List of dealers with link to floorplan and it looks like it's grown from last year which surprises me due to the projected downturn in the RV industry.

The two floors they'll use in Pittsburgh total a little over 325,000 sq ft, and they claim 750 RV's at the show. I have a feeling they count a lot of little rigs, golf carts, scooters, etc.

If any of you guys decide to head to Pittsburgh, we're planning going the on Saturday, the 12th

Maybe they are displaying 750 of these.

You can show 4 teardrop trailers in the space of one Tiffin

Could this be America's response to RVing with high gas prices?

Looking at the dealer listing for the Pittsburg show and what they have to offer; I'd say the Pitt show is going to be the better of the two; Might even stumble on down ourselves.
