Well, I arrived on Wed. to 40 degree temps and a light rain. Thursday the rain stopped and I started setting up my display. It took about 4-5 hours to complete. My Toyota was full of gravestones and in the trailer I had 10 tubs or totes of other items. Friday brought temps in the low 40's and a few periods of a misty rain here and there. Saturday started cloudy, but by noon some peaks of the sun came out. It was still chilly in the low to middle 40's but the sun and no rain made a big difference. Saturday evening it was cold enough that any puddles froze. When I arrived on Wed in the next loop I kept hearing sawing and hammering that lasted into Thursday. There were 3 different sites that people took about 20 pallets each and constructed buildings or mini haunted houses. (Mama's Chophouse and West Branch Asylum) Mama's Chophouse took 1 place. Actually the West Branch Asylum took 4th which I thought was the best. At night it really popped. They played their music so loud that I heard it from 2 loops away. Here are a few pix's

My display is really ment for night time viewing. Everything is blacklight lite, but the main feature is I have this sound controlled or activated box the what ever you connect to it electrically will correspond to the spooky CD that I play. So I run the cords inside the trailer and have lamps set up in the windows. I formed cardboard enclosures around the inside of the window areas. So as the scary music plays the lights will flicker as to what is playing on the CD. So if there are lightening sounds and thunder claps, the lights go on and off or flicker to the sound.
