Mercer Pa KOA 5/11. Get one free night

Apparently they are having their annual pay for one night and get one free that weekend. I need to get to the outlets so that would work out great. I left a message for the campground to see if they can get us in that weekend ok.
George Miklas said it is a pretty nice place.
So who would like to go and then I can let the campground know.

Mercer works good for us that weekend. We were going to have to make a choice on that weekend.

Go to a family event or go camping Which would have won??

What's cool, is the party we need to go to is pretty close to the campground, so we're doing both

Some of us have made reservations there for the 5/11 weekend.
Bill, Joe, Lori and myself.

They have other sites available but not sure exactly how close to each other they may be. My correspondence with them has been by email since they are not opened at this time.
They did say that they have additional sites available for that weekend and when you make your on line reservations, go to http://www.koa.com/where/pa/38103/
use "find available campsites"
Under the comment or notes section, put in that you would like to be as close as possible to the "darrell" group. I know, they mis-spelled my name.

We reserved today. After reserving, I posted at Penn-Ohio Family Campers (a yahoo group that I moderate) and put out an invitation for others.


Well low and behold just a couple hours later I found that "outlawmom" reserved with the "Darrell" group. I'll keep this thread posted when any others are known.

I told Di about the Mercer outing. She said is that near Grove City outlet mall. I said u bet. We will have to wait till we see what week we need to go to Chicago for Robert's annual doctor appointment. Usually sometime between April and mid May. I kind of have to watch what we reserve till we know a date. She has been bugging me to get back to the outlet mall. I wonder why I have to confess, I found a bunch of things there last year I just had to have.
