Happy Holidays to all Ye Pond Piggies out there. We can be thankful for surviving this downturn in the economy and still pursue our love for RV'ing. Where else can people explore and relax every week or two during the season exploring new places and revisiting old favorites.

December can be soooo soooo long... January some of us will get out to a RV show and

do a little dreaming.... (or buying)

February we will start to finalize our summer

plans.... March we'll start to

think about getting our RV's out of winter

storage.... April we'll get down

and dirty: re-stocking, waxing, prepping and waiting for

that first nice

weekend..

And before we know it we'll all be greeting each other at the Memorial Day Weekend Mohican State Park outing....

Those are the deer in your backyard, aren't they John? What a sweet photo....well, until they hang around to eat your expensive, carefully planted flowers come summer

Well, once upon a time, about 25 years ago it was an issue....found my Mugo Pines and arborvitae a bit chewed up; after looking for insect infestation to no avail I just thought maybe the soil was bad until one morning there was a heard of about 12 in the side yard....playing, romping and EATING my shrubs. Until then we didn't know we had dear, but of course something had to be eating the apples off the tree in the front yard....so since then, the deer have been fed a diet of apples and molasses corn daily!( I do mean daily) No more chewed up shrubs and a bunch of happy dear continue to frequent our yard.
So it's a non-issue.
