Dave & I will be here, site 84, for this wknd. There's still about a dozen in area 3 open if anyone wants to join. I think Bill & Joe are at Mosquito that wknd for their alternate from the wknd they missed in the spring.

Lori while your there check out the full service sites. I like #63 the best. That whole street except # 62 (awning restriction) is fine. While your at Mohican check out the covered bridge upstream. Also the Mohican State Park Lodge sits on a bluff overlooking Pleasent Hill Lake. While there take a walk past the tennis courts to a lookout. The walkway will loop around back to the lodge. Also if it is open, check out the grist mill located about 1/2 mile west of the campground check-in station on route 3. They open it up about every other weekend.

Thanks Jim/Diane, will do. The sites you previously recommended (98 & 100) were already booked for that wknd & so were most all of the fhu sites. I've heard the fhu's are t-boned into the back of another row so I'm interested in finding out how that works. If it's similar to what they do at Kalyumet, it makes things close but tolerable.

Sorry we can't make it; will be in Goshen getting things fixed that Sirpilla couldn't/wouldn't do in the 3 months and 3 weeks they had our coach. Just gotta love their service!
The good news is Keystone stepped up to the plate to take care of me....even sent a couple reps to the house to view the issues and discuss what needed to be done.

There's a lot in the area I'm sure I'll remember once I'm there. I'm from that area & used to go with my dad hunting for fossils & watercress in one of the side creeks off RT-97. It's been more than 25 years since I was there last. Actually, Dave & I met on a blind date at the canoe livery just up to road from the campground. I knew it must be love when he asked for a second date even when I smelled like river water (& those of you who've been canoeing at Mohican know that smell) from when I fell in.

Ya, I forgot about the firetower. I few years ago it was in "" shaky condition. But it is open again. Bill if your back is into mountain biking there are 28 miles of trails. I think I gave you a map back when we were at West Branch in the spring. There are 2 trail heads in the campground. One ate the front check in station and the other before the bridge that goes over to the cabin area. That one there is a nice mile long trail that runs just above the campground with out much climbing. We will be in Vermont for another 10 days........great weather up here.....mountain breezes.... kayaking...hiking.....eating....
