There's a new look to the Ohio State Parks website. One feature allows checking campground site availability by clicking on just one link (example).
I like this as it gives a one-shot overall review of available sites for the immediate weekend for all campgrounds without having to search each state park individually. Great for those last minute decisions to head out when you need to know what park has openings. Although, you still have to go to the individual park listing to find which specific sites numbers are available.
They also added a tab that lists the campgrounds with/or coming soon free WiFi & also which park lodges have WiFi available ($).

Yeah, & that's early for me. I'm usually up 'til about 1AM anymore, often lurking on iRV2 late. But, since I don't even THINK about getting up until at least 9AM, it works for me! Oh, retirement is hard work, ain't it?!?

Retirement ??? I'm so looking forward to retiring I keep a log of the actual time left till "R" day (June 2015). 297 weeks, down to 40 million seconds of actual on the clock time. Opps update 39,999,999 seconds. I calculated out all vacations, personal days, paid holidays, just actual working hours.....We just signed a new labor contract that was not very favorable to senior employees.
I have not seen the new ODNR website yet. That feature for looking up sites for the upcoming weekends will be a time saver. I'll have to check it out now....update 39,999,998
