Newbie wondering what the regions do

I just discovered irv2 and decided to sign on. What exactly do the regions do? It sounds as though you have gatherings at various campgrounds around the region. Or are most of the gatherings around Lake Erie? How does it work?

Welcome Jean, we have the "regions" posted for the whole U.S. But anyone can join another regional campout when they want. There are lots of folks who go south during the winter and camp with the FL Boomers. Ther are Northeasters who camp with Mid Atlantic, Great Lakes who come east to PA. etc. etc. Now check out our National Rally 2005 in Lancaster PA. in June. Why don't you come to that? Hope to see you camping, and check back often. Most of the camping is hopefully about ready to start.....April, May. COME ON SPRING

At the present time, the Great Lakes region has one iRV2.com-organized camp group named the Pond Piggies. Regular attending members are from NorthEastern Ohio, Western PA, and Western NY.

There are several iRV2.com members from WI, MN, and IL, but I haven't heard any talk about organizing a camp group in that part of the Great Lakes region. How about starting a group Jean?
