First Welcome to the 1st timers joining us this year.

The 17th is only a couple weeks away if you need to make reservations don't put it off after April 1st the campground will not be holding the sites so you might not get a spot with our group.

check page one to make sure I have you on the LIST, I if I have you only listed by your screen name Please PM me your names I need them for the name tags.

if anyone wants to bring the ladder or bag game maybe you can get a game going.

we'll need firewood for the group fire pit.

5 Weeks until the rally

We camped over the weekend, and are camping all week long. We are at Camp Lakewood in Effingham. We are going camping the weekend of the 30th. Maybe around Springfield.

I have got the GPS all set up for the spring rally. We are hopefully going to be up there in Thursday.

There is good news, and bad news. Good news is that I don't have to worry about making up an excuse for the boss to be gone for two days. The bad news, I had knee surgery the end of March. I have been told I will not go back to work until after Memorial Day.

See everybody in just a few weeks.

I'll take knee surgery over work as long I can still go camping

I had my right knee worked on in 06 as soon I could I was camping at Rockcut but Bob still had to work but he still liked being at Rockcut over being at home.

My wife don't mind me being off. I take the unit to the campground a couple of days early, and when she gets off of work, she just shows up, and the campsite is all set up.

While you're all together, why don't you come up with a group logo? Then you could join the ranks & have your group listed with the other Regional Groups & be able to have your designations under your member names or, possibly, even a sub-Forum (if there's enough activity).

The Northern IL Camping Group Spring Rally come and gone.

Thanks to everyone that came to make this a great rally

We had the Forest city Sams join us for our rally.
They are a great bunch of rvers hope we can all get together again.

We had some long distance guys that made the rally St Louis Urbana Madison WI. Normal so it can be done.

Thanks to Woodalls for the giveways everyone like getting something.

Mike,
I want to say thanks to you for sending us an invite to the rally.

As a rule, we don't do rallies, because my wife has MS, and most people don't understand what it is, or how it effects people.

I will have to say that this is the friendliest group of people we have camped with, "out of the blue." Our Good Sam club is famous for their "clicks", and I will say, that there is no such thing with this group. I don't think I have ever felt so welcome by a group of strangers before. My wife is checking on Monday to see if she can get the time off to go to the summer rally.

Thanks again for sending us an invite, and thanks to everyone who came over to say hi.
