This rally is open to everyone that wants to go camping and have a good time.

To reserve a site call the campground tell them you are
with Northern Illinois Spring Rally

They will need:

Name, address, RV type & a credit card to hold the site.

YOU NEED TO MAKE RESERVATIONS BY MARCH 19th after April 1st you might not get a site with the group.

Then PM me when you reserve your site I'll add you the list

Friday we'll find a restaurant for fish fry

Saturday we'll have a bring your meat(cooked)and dish to pass potluck dinner at 5:30

So come on out lets make this a great rally

This is wonderful, Mike. We've been hard pressed to get a group going on that side of the North Central Region. I hope it takes off & we can add another club to our region.

Now for the important stuff.....I will give the info to the wife, and see what she thinks. It's about 4 hours from Urbana to Rockford. Will have to see if she want to travel that far for a weekend trip. Hummm, maybe play hookie in Thursday and Friday???????? How many people will stand up for me if I call in "sick" for those two days??????

Grumpytrkr it is almost 4 hrs to Rockford but the rally is in Sycamore and that is only 2.5 hrs from you. I'll write you a note so you can take off work.

Got an e-mail saying wife of Grumpy and I are confirmed for the campground.

Now, I'm on to a list of reason not to go to work for two days.

I sprained an eyelash......

Ran out of blinker fluid......truck won't run???????

Cat hid the truck keys??????????

I'm over my DOT hours, and don't have enough time to drive to work?

My wife is a Correctional Officer and works a rotating schedule. Unfortunately, she works all three of those days. On the bright side, Sycamore's only an hour and a half away and she's home by 3:30 in the afternoon. Would it be acceptable for us to run down on the bike just to visit one or two of the afternoons?

sure if you want come for the potluck Saturday I will put extra burgers on my grill for you guys and there is always enough side dishes so you would have to worry about bring food on bike.

On another RV forum that I belong to, there was a post from somebody that was from Northern Illinois. When I listed there was a rally in Sycamore, he/she was interested, and there were a few more inquiries, so I guided them to the web site. Hopefully, this might bring in a few more?
