Frank,
We're going to take a ride out to the Cleveland IX Center for the Ohio RV show this coming weekend. After going there last year and seeing the size of the show, we are going to return this year.
For some reason, Pittsburgh's show has gotten smaller and doesn't seem to have the accessory vendors anymore, where Ohio was very well attended by manufacturers and dealers.

Hi Joe:
From your house, it probably doesn't take much longer to travel to Cleveland than Pittsburgh anyway; and it's mostly highway driving. For me, it takes about a half-hour just to reach the interstate to go to Cleveland and, by then, I'm already in downtown Pittsburgh.
Enjoy the show! We can compare notes later.
Hope everyone had an enjoyable holiday season!

I told Dave you'd be the 1st one to notice. Thanks. Dave's sister did it for me for becoming a Mod. She's a graphic artist & she made it in the Pixar Cars style, but with the paint job, logo & license plate of our Bounder. I thought about having her put an iRV2 sticker in the driver's window, but I figured it'd be too small to even be noticeable.
Maybe you'll find a new rv at the show. It'll be interesting to see how willing dealers are to deal trying to recover from the sales disaster of last yr. I've noticed very few of the local dealers have much 2010 stock on hand. Probably don't want to commit inventory $'s until they see what kind of crowds/interest the winter shows bring.

Unfortunately, I don't think a new RV is in the cards this year. Our youngest son is getting married in March and between that and purchasing a new truck last summer...
Last month, I did truck customization- steps, front/rear splash guards, bug shield, bed mat, tailgate liner, rear wheelhouse liner. I've got some of the stuff installed but the rest will have to wait until the weatherman cooperates.

So, next time we see you, your truck will look like this? :
Sorry it's a Chevy pic - couldn't find any cool GMC's pimped out.

Oh, thinking of truck pics (slightly off-topic here)...Frank, did you know your prior truck with your Jayco is the category photo for travel trailers in the trailers photo section? How cool is THAT?

Yep!
So, I see. I thought those changed from time to time.
We took the truck to visit our son in Maryland last week. While riding one night through one of the Baltimore suburbs, someone shot at us (with a BB gun, I believe). They were aiming for a window but, due to their bad aim (and a Guardian Angel) it struck the rear door window frame instead. Another inch or two and it would have got the window. There's a small depression and a nick in the paint. Although, right now, the truck's so dirty you can't tell much of anything. In case anyone's wondering, it was on Chris' side.
Unfortunately, a GPS (Yes, I got one for Christmas) doesn't tell you when you're traveling through a "bad" neighborhood. Maybe they should have that option "Avoid Bad Neighborhoods" in future models.
