I just know the way this winter weather has been going that the day I'm supposed to bring the new toy home, we'll get 2 feet of snow and it will last until April.....
I just can't score a bright sunny, in the high 40's - 50's, dry day when I want one....Yet we've had more of them lately than I can ever remember.

Were still kicking tires, but I have made a few calls to get a few phone quotes and I think if not All-Seasons, somewhere we'll be pulling a trigger soon....

This morning I got off the phone with a dealer with a price and trade value that I'm OK with, actually was a little surprised. I'm going to give ASRV / Wendy a chance for my continued business...Either Friday or Sat....

Got to keep America working....they work building them, we relax using them...

Looking at that schedule, it could happen that you'd get a call from the dealer the end of next week or early the following to come take a look.

I hope I didn't bump up the anticipation level
Or as an alternative, it could turn up very late because they were short of the odd screw or two or three .................................................. .. Opps sorry.

That's the spirit Jim! We as a group can help get this sordid economy back on it's feet even if it's by buying an RV or the equipment that makes it more like home.....spend......SPEND....SPEND!
Just make sure it's American jobs you're helping to create. (What is more American than an RV you say?)
While browsing some photos someone took of their Tiffin Motor home being built.... I came across one with a shipping crate branded "MADE IN TURKEY" Go figure....

Keep at it, Jim. Once you commit, that just leaves Frank & Chris - and even Frank's admitted their interest has been peaked recently. Maybe we'll end up w/3 of you with new RV's this coming season. And, of course, a new RV means business for Bill as you get your new home-away-from-home abodes outfitted with all the gizmos & doo-dads he's got.

John, it looks like that crate is a set of mattress.

As of late we have been on a spending spree: New mattress ( Made in Parma), cherry curio cabinet (most likely made off shore), recliner (again made somewhere else most likely) extended my Toyota service warranty (opps that $$$ is going to Japan)....

Lori...your Bounder has the black colored AC cover and such. Have you noticed any fading from the sun. The new Aerolites have switched over to light gray exterior color, with frameless windows and black colored AC, frig and vent covers....They made a mid-year model change in Sept. now with gray exterior, frameless windows and the black covers. I'm going to assume they are black plastic and not just painted. Aerolite 232ES

Jim, Regarding black colored exterior items, my rig has tons of the stuff. So far I've seen no fading of any of the items. Personally, the white plastics that always yellowed drove me nuts, but the black items look like new. On our bus, I have black A/C covers, Maxxair covers, satellite dome, spotlight, etc all in black plastic. Nothing has faded.

The only black item I ever had a problem with on a previous rig was the windshield wiper arms. Their black paint faded to grey and I re-painted them.

As Joe said; for me as well, the white yellowed no mater what I did....
I'd say a touch of 303 protectant should help alleviate the aging process no matter what color the vent, A/C covers are.

Spend that $$$$ - you can't take it with you!

No fading of the black on our Bounder. I put 303 Protectant on all the black covers, window trim, side mirror shrouds, bay door handles...etc. every year. Probably should do it more often, but I usually get it on when we do the once-a-year wax job.

The only black thing on ours that always looks crappy is the rubber rear rock guard that hangs off the back. All the road grime does a number on that. I spray the crap out of it with at least 2 cans of engine degreaser & scrub it with a stiff brush 2 or 3 times a season. It never looks good.
