Gee...Ya think?
If it wasn't so close now I'd pull the rest of my hair out.
Feels like it's been 2 years instead of 2 months.

Same here, and it's only been 24 hours....

Mentally thinking on what upgrades I need...Camco smoke colored vent cover, TV wall mount bracket, new Rubbermaid bins / totes, new carpet runner, new storage bay carpet liners.....and I thought I was done spending $$$$

LOL!
I went and copied photos of just about every 34TGA (That had the options we chose) I could find on the web to look at EVERY nook and cranny I could see so I could ask a lot of
"intelligent"? questions when we do our PDI.
I also have been trying to figure out how to use the storage compartments and what I want to take with me....
Got to be careful with weight; from what I've read the weight ratings on the gassers are flawed and leave you with less than the posted CCC.
We'll see how that goes; but it seems several folks have tried to get a response from Tiffin about the issue and are getting a"So what" as their answer. I'll have to make sure my firewood is well seasoned before I load up.

I'm thinking about weighing everything I take out as we clean out the old unit just to see how much I was loaded with. But actually we didn't really have it loaded to the max as far as space.

There is one cabinet that was designated as "my space" where I kept some tools, rags, odds & ends. I'm going to have to be a better negotiator and get myself a larger cabinet in the new RV. The DW already pointed out which one I was getting, but I didn't agree yet...

Good for Diane! Stake her space out right from the start. Some guys tend to want to carry a bunch of stuff they "might" need. Last fall, I finally took some tubs out of the coach that we had transferred from the 5-r & had never been in them since the transfer....5 years ago!

Jim,

Congratulations on the purchase! I'm glad to see the Pond Piggies all doing their part in keeping the economy going!

My motorhome magazine showed up in the mail yesterday, but I didn't have a chance to look at it other than a quick glance this morning as I was getting ready to leave for work. It looks like they did a article on the 34TGA, but I can't find it yet on the online magazine to post a link.

Mine is... is... is...is still on the drawing board....

They said I could call in a week or two to see what week it was set to be built. At the Dutchman plant they take turns making Coleman, Kodiak and Aerolite products....last week while on the phone with the factory production manager, he said mid March....

They can take all the time they want...... Just get it right

Reminds me....awhile back I was watching another RV manufacturer's video on how fast his crew could slap a trailer together....The guy running the screw gun was just flying down a line with fasteners for the framing....I'm saying to myself, slow down dude....I don't need that RV that fast....take your time....lets make sure you get at least half the screws in all the way and the other half cross threaded...

Yeh...they should slow down.
Reminds me of a certain Mfg. that I used to have strong ties with...EVERY trip out had to re-fasten something, without fail....I started using caulk with each screw I had to re-fasten or Gorilla glue to re-attach the moldings; finally got them to where everything was great.
Then I started noticing screws popping on the main roof and slide-out roofs.
The floors falling out of the slide room was not an un-common problem though we never experienced it.
That's what happens when they turn out 15-18 a day.

I think that was Frank with link to a Jayco video. It's on here somewhere.

I really am.....
8 years ago; we bought our Ford Dually DIESEL because "I'm gonna save a whole lotta money now....cause gas is so expensive"
5 days later....Diesel went through the roof. A by product of gasoline costing more than gas itself?
Tonight on the news they say gas is going to skyrocket by spring....Of course right after we get our new GASSER!
This stinks!
The only saving grace is I own a bunch of petroleum stocks....But I don't think it's gonna be a wash.
Good thing Ohio has a lot of good campgrounds. Don't think we'll be cruising down to Tennessee anytime soon...Though I do miss Natchez Trace St. Pk.

There was a summer a couple years back gas was over $4/gal. We had 1 trip to PA that season, the rest was all in OH. As you know, you won't run out of places to go in OH in a season. Maybe more chance of us meetin' up.

Luckily for us, with the exception of the iRV2 National, the rest of the big rallies we're going to this season are all just over the border in IN.

Hey John, how many days left on your countdown clock?
