After speaking to more salesmen/dealers than any human should have to do in a lifetime the past two weeks; We've finally agreed to terms to purchase a 2012 Tiffin Allegro Open Roads, 34TGA.
We essentially gave the Everest away; but received substantial (in my mind at least) incentives/ discounts to make the deal a LOT easier to swallow.
I wanted to move fast to ensure we had a new coach in our possession for the next season.
Now the wait begins for our build date.....

Hey, contrats John & Jan on the purchase of your Tiffin. I hear the waiting is the hardest part. Do you think you'll be able to go down & see it it production when you get the build date? Keep us posted.

I see you already changed your avatar. I guess now you'll be hangin' out in the Tiffin Forum, huh?

I've been lurking in the Tiffin Forum on here and elsewhere for over a year now trying to glean as much knowledge as I can from current owners.
I doubt we'll be traveling to Red Bay anytime soon.
Just not that interested. But I will be thinking about it.... I'm counting on the folks that build em to build em right.
We chose the 34tga because it seems to fill the wish list of what we wanted in a new RV. It's small enough it should be maneuverable in our st. pks., but big enough it gives us the extra space we were missing with our trailer. We really like the bathroom separation that we DID not have in the Everest....Also like having 3 TVs in a 30' space....just can never have too many tv's. Wish they had one outside.
We're going to have the 7,000 KW Generator and the living room will have a 15k BTU A/C with a heat pump...should be nice in the spring when we don't want to turn on the furnace.

It's gonna be a longggggggg 8-10 weeks.

Wow John...You did pull the trigger fast....

I checked out your new floorplan on a

Where did you buy it?

What color Decor did you get?

The 34 tga floorplan has a whole lot of storage....for a 34'+ rig....

John, Congrats on the great looking coach. Watched the video and I'm impressed with it. I'm sure it's gonna be a hard wait, but worth it.

Thanks for the responses.
I've watched that video about 15 times already....
It keeps me imagining when we get ours. We ordered it with the "French Roast" Interior instead of the raven (In the video). With Sunlit Sand exterior. @ All Seasons in Streetsboro.
I have to say; this purchase was a lot more comfortable than our last purchase from That Akron Dealer we bought the Everest from.
Seemed like a whole different philosophy going into it and sealing the deal. Hopefully their service dept. will be just as good. (If we ever need them)
It IS going to be a very long winter....8-10 weeks?
Yes we kept the F-350...I'm getting rid of my 2001 Silverado. (getting kind of rusty)
And the 350 finally has the bugs worked out of it. Or maybe I should say the mice; which is what caused me a plethora of issues that no one at the Ford dealer could figure out. But a Mechanic friend did.

Oooh, it sounds nice. What color cabinets? I wonder who thinks up those color names anyway? There isn't even anything that looks sand-colored on that sunlit sand picture on the website. I wonder what sand they're looking at?

English Chestnut cabinetry.
Got the drivers side door as well; for what I don't know....I seriously doubt I'll be scrambling up those steps anytime soon.

Hopefully Tiffin's driver's door is quieter than the one on FW's. One of the gas Bounder models came w/one & when we test drove it the wind noise was quite noticeable.

From what I've read, door noise has been almost a non-issue. That said; I still think with any one of these things, any name brand, it's the luck of the draw.
Some are great....and some not so great.
Here's hoping ours comes trouble free.

If you drink 3 shots of OUZO chased with 6 beers, spin around 4 times, then stand on your head and squint your eyes and look at it....It looks like Sunlit Sand.

John, we bought our Aerolite from All-Season's back in 05'. I guess we got one of those with not many bugs....Once or twice times we took it in, and things were completed on time. Which salesperson did you have?
