The following spring we met again in May of 2001 for our first international campout (I'll bet the Texas Boomers never held one of these. Sorry, Madame Boomer) at the Niagara Falls KOA in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

We had our July rally in Thackerville, Oklahoma. For Texans, that's a foreign country ;-)

Yep, we travel out of the Republic of Texas to go to Oklahoma .... and it is a foreign country. Shoot, we may even try to venture over to Louisana some time.

I was wondering how long it would take the Boomers to post on this thread to rationalize for their shortcomings on holding a true international rally.

Come on, guys, Mexico isn't any further from parts of Texas than Canada is from Pennsylvania, New York and Ohio.

Ummmm......I for one wouldn't be enthusiastic about attending a rally in the border area of Mexico as of this 5 minutes. There are some "unpleasantries" going on down there these days.
