Let me know how you guys like this place. I had it down on my list of "places to go" since they have a 5PM check out on Sundays. That allows me plenty of sleep in time. :laugh

P.S. First I've seen that no Formaldehyde/Phosphorus in holding tank solution allowed rule for a campground.

I wonder how they enforce it? Do they have a CSI team secretly come to your campsite in the middle of the night to sample and analyze what's coming out of your sewer hose? And if they find any of these chemicals present, what's the punishment? Thirty lashes using your contaminated sewer hose?

I have to think the logic behind their rule is similar to the logic in the PA state park rule of no alcoholic beverages. Some will adhere to the rule but others won't; and there's no way they can really enforce the rule unless they see something obvious.

Just thought I would jump in here about the NO Formaldehyde/Phosphorus in holding tank issue. It is because they have a septic tank or septic pool system to get ride of the sewage in their campground. These chemicals disrupt the normal process of sewage breakdown by bacteria. I am sure they would not be able to enforce it without doing inspections, they probably just hope most people would abide by their rules....

Thanks, Ken. I didn't know that about septic systems.

Maybe they have specially trained dogs that go through your camper while you're waiting at the office for check-in & they're sniffing for "Odorlos" or "AquaChem" residue.
(sorry, couldn't resist)

Guess I better get me some new juice for the tank....all mine is formaldehyde based...

As hard a time as that lady gave me for wanting a pull through, she'd probably burn me at the stake for using the strong stuff!!
