Salt Fork State Park...here we come.
Just can't take it anymore.....I've got to kickk off the 2012 season. Bill and I are heading to Salt Fork this weekend. (3/30)
I think this will be the first time camping in March
Anyone want to join us

You passed up all those 70 & 80 degree weekends? If we would have had a RV the last few weeks I'm sure we would have gone.....somewhere. Good luck...Should have the place to yourself...

Have a great time! Sue and I are heading to Alum Creek this weekend...third time out so far this year. Hard to believe it isn't even the end of March yet.

Funny, we met up w/Frank & Chris (at the lodge there) the 1st weekend of this month. Just had to get out & do some wineries. Wouldn't you know it, it snowed there that weekend. I think you'll be safe from that white stuff this weekend though. Have a good time.

I keep looking at the weather for the weekend.
3 days ago, Saturdays high was to be 68....yesterday they said Saturday would be 60....today, it's predicting 58. At this rate, it might Snow
At least Sunday will be 77 and Sunny
I guess the temperature doesn't matter, as long as were camping.

I have been in some hellacious T-storms @ Salt Fork in the early season  ...I mean Nasty....Keep a watchful eye...You CAN see them coming. They kind of hit and run....so they don't last long. Always try and get an East/West facing site in the early season for that reason.
Wish we were joining ya's.

We had amazing weather until about 9, a couple of heavy down pours and a bunch of lightning. Caly (dog) really hates that. It wrapping up now. Kinda feel bad for some tenters.
Jim hope you got a chance to pick up the new rig and check her out.

Actually we've been sitting here watching the lightning outside for the last hour or so. Its been a pretty awesome display but now the rain has just about stopped.
it's an awesome view with all the lights turned off in the rig and the front windshield visor open just watching the light flash outside.
