Ray,

Yeah, I know. Summer goes way too quickly, doesn't it? Actually, Sept & Oct are my most favorite times to rv. Warm days & cool/clear nights just perfect for campfires & hot choc (spiked w/Baileys, of course)...plus the cg's are less crowded. Then, mix in the leaves changing color, pumpkins & local craftshows & ya have the perfect recipe for fall camping - in this area of the country anyway.

Lori,
We stayed there in July on our way thru Michigan.
Yea, the lake front sites are only for you fancy people with the Class A's!!

Make sure you go to Clementine's in downtown South Haven to eat.
South Haven Visitors Bureau :: Attraction Details

Order the perch and get a side of shrimp!!!!!!!

And for ice cream, I dont know the name of the place, but it is on the same road as the campground headed towards South Haven on the right side before you get to the interstate.

Hey, thanks for the tips, Mike! You know Dave & I always appreciate knowing a good place to eat. We must gravitate to the same type of places. I had already downloaded the South Haven VB to my laptop favorites & had marked Clementines, as well as Chocolate Cafe (both looked like interesting old buildings) & Seawolf (if it's been around since 1922, it must be pretty good) on the website itinerary as places to hit.
