A couple of us have made reservations here for Memorial Day weekend. If ya don't want to bring your RV, they have cottages.

From the website, it looks nice...Is the rate of $31 a night (30amp) for 2 people or families?

That's what I thought too, Jim. They also got high numbers on rvparkreviews.com. I'm anxious to see if they live up to them.

Don't know about occupancy. I was just asked how many campers. I can find out, though & post back.

From the rules on their website, they're one of a very few CG's that allow you to bring in firewood - so long as it doesn't touch the ground except when burning it.

One of the campgrounds at the Cleveland show I was thinking about checking out states that you must buy all your firewood from them. I have asked if the kiln dried hardwood (oak & cherry) cut offs I bring are allowed. No "you must buy your wood from our store"....

Now that's just wrong. Those hardwoods aren't even related to the problem. Just another way for a CG to get more money out of you by selling you 6 pieces of wet, crappy wood that smoulders instead of burns for $8 a bundle! I've had the best luck buying from locals near the CG. Even the OH Ag tells people to do so, rather than transport between counties. I understand the danger of the EAB & the trees it's destroying, but I think it's too late for OH, especially in counties where they've already been spotted. Just look at the agri map, every county is quarrantined!
