The 2008 Houston RV show will be held at the Reliant Arena on February 13-17th. They are expecting over 600 RV's to be there this year, with seminars on several topics. More can be found at Houston RV Show

We don't need a new trailer yet, but will probably go to see what new accessories we need.

Never hurts to just "look" just might find something you really "need".

I was thinking that we might want to go about 2 o'clock, and then we would have worked up an appetite by the time we look at everything there. Let me know if you want to try to get together?

I have to work on that Saturday and Sunday, but I will try to get Friday off. If anyone wants to go to the show with me then, please let me know.

Note: plans changed and now I want to go on Saturday with everyone else.

Hmm, I will be in town that weekend. Not sure what my schedule looks like, not sure of Lisa's work schedule. I think Houston is like 3 hrs from Boerne though. Is it worth the drive? It has been made perfectly clear to me I am not allowed to buy anything.

Hi Rick -

The Houston RV Show is pretty good sized. They usually have quite a few rv's to look at and drool over!

IF ya'll decide to come over for the show, Rusty and I would be tickled pink if you and the family stayed with us.

It is a 3 hour drive over (to our house) and at least another 45min to 1 hour down to the Reliant Center. It's too much to do in one day.

We have PLENTY of room and would love to have ya'll!

Sandy

I posted over in the Mardi Gras thread that Pat and I may come on down to Rayford on the 15th-17th. Would love to make the RV Show on Sat the 16th.

If we are going as a Texas Boomer Group let's get it together. Time - Place to Meet - etc.

I'd like to go, but sort of depends on Peg-Leg Susan. Will she be up to walking that far?

How is pat doing on the knee recovery?

Hi Ken & all concerned. Pat is doing great walking around unassisted ( threw her cane away last week), has finished therapy and is walking virtually without a limp. She is probably gonna stay at the rig while I go drool over the new rigs. Maybe She and Susan would like to vist while you and I and any other Boomers that want to go take in the show.

Thanks for the invite Sandy. After talking to Lisa, we think we are going to pass on the show. I will only be in town for a week and a pretty full schedule. If it were closer I would definately make it. Trying to get Lisa over to meet you all at the rally in Boerne the weekend before though. Just waiting fr her work schedule.

Rick and Lisa -

We definitely understand! It's a long way over here for a short weekend! When you are in town only for a week, I can well imagine all the things you need to do!

We HOPE to see ya'll while we're at Top Of The Hill though - it would be AWESOME if ya'll could come by to meet the folks! Most everyone will be there on Friday night, all day Saturday (the guys...us gals will be in Boerne shopping!) and ya'll could stay for Sat night cook out.....or anytime on Sunday!

LET US KNOW!
Sandy
