We will be having our annual Texas Holdem Tournament at the Memorial Day Rally. Entry fee will be $10 and the prize money will be split as follows 75% to the winner plus the Texas Holdem Trophy for a year, 20% to 2nd place, and 5% to 3rd place.

The tournament will start promptly at 11 AM Sat Morning and will continue with breaks for meals and periodic strech breaks until a winner is declared.

Rules for tournament play will be explained just before we start the tournament. Please see me anytime prior to 10:30 AM Sat to sign up. The tournament is open to all and even if you haven't played before it is a real easy game to learn and a lot of fun trying to win the trophy and title of Texas Boomer Texas Holdem Champion for 2007.

I think she is leaning towards the LCR. We have a group of friends here in Galveston, that play that game regularly, for $3 per person.

She'd probably be bored with boomer LCR then as they only play for quarters now - $.75 a game. Anyhoo we gonna be glad to see you folks again and we will have the "pink chicken trophy" there to present to the big winner.

I can't imagine either one of us being in any manner bored with a boomer rally. We had a tremendous time 2 years ago, and expect of repeat that. She would still prefer to do LCR, I'm sure, as there would probably be a lot of gals playing. We are planning on leaving Galveston on Thurs. haven't decided on where to spend that night yet, Luchenbach or where-ever.

Well Cookieman almost pulled it out again being down to 14 chips and coming back to finish 2nd. In the end Richard prevailed and was crowned the Texas Boomers Texas Holdem Champ for 2007.

We had 6 men and 3 ladies enter this year and a great time was had by all.

Richard King, 2007 Texas Holdem Champion

Did Richard win enough $$$$$$$$$$ to head to Louisiana to look at a new Phaeton so he can keep up with the Litterers??? That LOOKS like a lotta chips on that table! If it translates into dollars....he can afford to look at the Phaeton!

We are now in the Campground at Red Bay, Alabama at the factory. We did win enough to LOOK at the new coaches. We had a great time. Good weekend.

Can anyone explain why Richard has flowers growing out of his head? Was that part of his winnings?
