You know me I like to plan ahead. I booked the weekend of August 4 to 6 at Medina Lake RV Resort. There is shade and water. You can enjoy the Lake or the swimming pool.

Check them out and mark your calendar.

Kris,

DARN 4 letter word that begins with W! It always gets in the way of our camping! We will not be able to attend the Rally in August as Larry has to WORK!

Kris,
Thank you for planning such a great line-up. We love Medina Lake. Put us down for August for sure.
We will be at the New Braunfels March get-together, as well. Most likely, we'll be able to do Bastrop in February, but I'll have to let you know for certain later this month.

(p.s) check your personal e-mail at home for a message from us.

We miss seeing everyone, and look forward to getting back to the rallies.

Hey Kris! I see that you have Haven's Landing listed for RenFest!! Do you have an actual date so I can put it on my calendar? We go almost every year (in costume too!) and would love to party there with the Boomers!!
Cheers, Tee & Dan

Here is the complete listing I had of the Hill Country Gatherings.

Tee here was the mention of the Ren Fest. I will contact Haven's Landing tomorrow to see if they can accommodate us.

Hi guys,
We came in about 3 hours ago, and while we were at the National, we had three requests from Lake Medina RV Resort on the home phone, wanted to know how many were coming and if we needed the club house all weekend. So, filling in for "mini boomer",can we start getting a final response of attendee's for the rally??? The sooner the better, they need a answer by this coming Friday. (7/28/06)

Sorry for the late notice,

Best,

Well as Bob noted the park called requesting a head count. I originally told them about 65 to 70 rigs. Ha

But, wanted to see how many die hard Boomers we got.

Yes, it is warm, OK HOT, but what would you do at home. Sit in the air conditioning. So come to the rally, play LCR, board games in the rally hall with us.

Let's show some Texas (HOT) spirit.

Hope to see you soon.

Ya can always stick a toe in the lake (or chair) By the way, this is NOT a catch and release lake, ya catch em, you keep em!

Best,

Great Don. I would love to see David and Scott again.

I picked up some interesting rocks at the Diamond mine. Not sure we actually saw any diamonds, but ... I will bring them along so the guys can see them.

If you get a chance, you should take them to Crater of Diamonds State Park, Murfreeboro, Arkansas. It is a short way on the way home. But, go through Hot Springs, AR. not the Google, Yahoo map quest.

The park is like East Texas, big trees, State Park, reasonable and a great water park. Slides, water jets etc. The boys would love it. There is a restuarant from 8 to 4. A 37 acre field to hunt for diamonds / rocks. Very educational.

Check it out on the web.

See you at Medina.
