Howdy Boomers,

Well I am finally back in Texas after spending a month in Tampa, FL, along with my brother, renovating a house I own there. Good news is the house sold before we ever listed it. Left Tampa Christmas Day and drove my Brother to Nashville, then headed home on Monday.

Really sorry that Pat and I had to cancel out of the Christmas Rally. We were really looking foeward to it. Getting the house in Florida ready for sell was just more presing.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holidays and hope to see everyone at the Texas Boomer Rally in February.

Welcome home Don!

No doubt your last month in Florida was a job indeed, but thankful the house sold without a hitch! Now you can put it to rest and not have to ever worry about it again!

Hope you had a Merry Christmas and we're all looking forward to a great New Year ahead!

Sandy

PS: I'm TRYING to pull together a February Rally, but as of today it's not coming together so easily. There are many RV Parks now that do not take rallies before Easter because of space issues. The winter Texans have come south hoping for warmer weather....weren't they surprized at our recent snowfall in south Texas!

Will keep everyone posted if we can meet somewhere in February!

Thanks Sandy, It was a task but we got it done by working a lot of long hours. It is good to be home, however the weather in Tampa was wonderful. Maybe I sold the wrong house

I will be in South Lake Tahoe 5-12 Feb so guess we will miss the Feb Rally if you plan it for 11-13. I am beginning to feel like JDOC - there aways seems to be a schedule conflict.

Have you looked at Lake Whitney up near Hillsboro. There are outlet stores in Hillsboro and I think the Lake Whitey Marina and RV Park has a clubhouse but not really sure - they do accept group reservations.

Here is their web site:
http://www.lakewhitneymarina.com/Campground.htm#Groups if you are interested in contacting them.

By the way Pat is recovering nicely - no longer needs a cane to get around - the new knee still hurts a little but is improving every day.

All my best to you and Rusty and family.
