Kris,

Sorry we cannot make the Bandera trip, Larry has to work that weekend and the trailer is in the shop for warranty work. Sounds like a fun time, wish we could make it. Hopefully next time!

You guys have fun!

Don't think we can get away quite this soon, but we really hope to have the family settled and comfortable in another month, so we'll try to make the October gathering.

New guy here, we live in Del Rio so I guess this is the local group we need to join. I'm not sure we can make the 16th rally but if we can, where is it? Is there anything we need to bring, like covered dish fixin's?

Welcome to the Texas Boomers.

We are always happy to get new members. You are welcome to attend any Boomer Rally in Texas. We only subdivided to assist our members in getting together more often and hopefully closer to home.

If you take 90 North to Hondo then 173 north to Bandera. It is about 145 miles, approximately 3 hours. The good news is now that we know you are there, we could try to schedule a rally in your area. Are there any nice RV parks on Lake Amistad?

In Bandera, we will probably do one pot luck for Saturday night.

There will be several October chances to get together. There is a Bastrop Texas Boomer Rally on Oct 7th and 9th. (East of Austin) Then the Hill Country October gathering is scheduled for the Austin area on the 21st to 23rd.

Let me know if you want me to save you a spot in Bandera. You can email me your names and I will get you a welcome package.

Again welcome aboard.

Kris

I love to travel and travel I must.

I'm sorry I was not clear, I know how to get to Bandera I just do not know what campground or where it is located. We pass through Bandera often on our way to Kerrville and Fredricksburg.

I'll be sure to let you know one way or the other by Wed.

We are looking forward to meeting lots of new folks.

Thanks loads, it is looking more and more like we can make it. Might stay a day or two longer if that is ok. Just found a road we've not been on and we've spent no time at all in Bandera. Who knows might deside to stay a long time!

Hi Kristi,
So sorry that we won't be able to make the Bandera rally. Just got home on Monday from the Burleson one and need to stay home a bit. Have a great time!

Tommy,
I'm sorry to have bought your extra fuel while we were in Burleson, but I never expected it to take you this long to get home.
