Are there any advantages to buying a menbership in a campground? The prices seem high for what is offered.

Hey Skytx, They are great if you are using them every day, they do tend to shuffle you around to make their life as easy as possible, as in if they have a big rally or some such you will have to move or go somewhere else. We once had to move to another park because where we were was having a corn on the cob eating contest!!! If for week-ends only you will probably be better off not to join one. We had C2C and TT.

See yall in the funnies, Warren

We joined one back in 1999 (Southern OK) --- outfit went out of business. No more membership parks for me.

Was invited to a free weekend of camping at a "club park" back a few years ago and a prize of stereo if we attended. All we had to do was "endure" their 90 minute sales pitch. This was my 1st exposure to membership camping and saw right away that it was a rip off. Wife and I outlasted their tremendous hard sale for about 5 hours, enjoyed our stay at their very nice park, took our stereo (yes they actually had a prize - nice one too), and went home. Boy were they ticked off. All one has to do is the math to see they are not worth it.
