Last week I read in the newspaper that the flamingo is still in Texas City. Like Buddy said, the poor thing has probably been affected by all of the chemicals in the air.

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR> We did some antiquing in Denham Springs, LA last week <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

DANG Joan, yall were only about six or seven miles from our house and three or four miles from our shop (Innovative RV) when you were in Denham Springs.

Wished we I had known yall were over in "My neck of the woods". We could have visited and such.

We have a area at the shop set up just for visitors. Even have a bbq pit and a propane smoker set up in a little "Patio Area" by 30 amp connections.

We even could have made the LONG drive (About 50 yards from teh shop) down to Brunet's (Real South LA cookin) for lunch or something.

*Note* for the rest of yall. If'n yall come this way (Baton ROuge area) be sure to drop me a message or somethin..... We'll tie up the allimagators and have yall over for a visit.

Don

Sorry we missed you. We did the Antebellum Plantation tour, Houmas House and San Francisco one day; Notoway and Oak Alley one day then Rosedown and Oakley Plantation another day. The other days we went antiquing. Maybe we will catch you on the next trip, I simply must tour Rosedown again in the Spring; considering all the gardenias, azaleas, roses and hydrangeas we noticed growing there it must be heaven in the spring. We would definitely want to check out Brunet's, we just ate like pigs filling up on boudin, jambalaya and gumbo.
