In order to protect the pink chickens from futher harm at boomer rallys, Madame Boomer hired Sheriff Matt Dillo of Gunsmoke fame as a measure of security for the Memorial Day Rally at Stonewall, Texas this past weekend.
Unfortunately sometime during the weekend the sheriff was captured by some rogue boomers ( probably pink chicken lovers) and hanged.
It was a pitiful sight, I must say and made this reporter resort to drinking one margarita after another during the weekend to try and get that horrible sight out of my mind.
I do hope the Madame gets control of this situation soon for I fear there will certainly be reprisals against many pink chickens for this cowardly act.

Astounding new evidence has just arrived implicating our own Madame Boomer and a newbie accomplice in the demise of Sheriff Matt Dillo.
This may sit well with the pink chicken lovers in the boomers but methinks those that covet the beloved 9 banded critter as the mascot will not take this new evidence too lightly.

Gregg and I had a great weekend with everybody and wish we could have stayed longer, but not yet, a few more years of that work stuff. Question: I hear that one of you took some photos of that beautiful rainbow, maybe Dee? I would really appreciate a copy emailed to me.

Mr. Allen
Somebody doctored that photograph! That's NOT me....or a newbie accomplice! It's just appears that we are near that hanging ugly thing. Your minds are telling you it's us, but it isn't!!!
let me see....where'd I hear that before? Oh yeah...with the hanging flamingo photo in front of your rig!

Heavens to Betsy....our own Madame Boomer driven to such barbarism. What will we do to keep peace in the Texas Boomers? Is the answer a two-part club, Chicken lovers and Dillo lovers. Do we have to have a Dillo and Pink Chicken run-off/flap off? Dillos can run and dig, bit a PC can fly....what would be fair?
Inquiring minds....

Gee, How do you know that those two unidentified ladies in that "doctored" photo were not trying to save the creature from becoming Armadillo Stew?? Actually, if you'll notice, that Dillo is armed and dangerous!! They should be considered heroines for saving everyone from a tremendous shootout! They should be given medals, or some neat kind of jewelry - that is, if you ever identify them!!
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

Sure seems I may need to hire a special security detail for those pesky chickens....With our resident Dep'd Don not in attendance, I'm thinking of recruiting Andy Griffith to attend our rally....Then Vette Racer could play the part of Otis!!

Rebelsbeach -
Andy Griffith is a good sheriff, but I'm not quite sure he can handle the insurrection down here in Texas!
I suggest we find Marshall Dillon, Wyatt Earp, Dirty Harry, Dick Tracy, Kojack, Columbo AND Elliott Ness to join the investigations team into the allegations that I, Madame Boomer, am being accused of!
I DID NOT INSTIGATE IT! Regardless of what the photo looks like I DID NOT INSTIGATE IT! I admit (under duress) that I helped after the fact, but I didn't start it!
Sandy
PS: Can you please send Marshall Dillon right away!

Madame Boomer, methinks you protest too much! Doesn't the guilty always do that.
As for Otis, I can handle that! Bring it on. Or...I could be the deputy... You know, just there to assist.
