How about an end of April (April 27-29th) at the Gulf Coast RV Resort in Beaumont? I thought we'd pull in on Friday night and just eat some finger foods or sandwiches, the park serves a continental breakfast, then we'd all load up and drive over to one of the casinos in Louisiana (Don, can you hear us?) where we'd gamble away some of our money and then eat at the buffet table?

I got us 15 sites to start out with, so we should have plenty of spaces. The lady at the park said we could get more if needed.

1. Coffman
2. Rublee
3. Berglund
4. Rogers (Ted and Donna)
5. Taube
6. Wurch
7. Curry
8. Covington

Oh, no!!! Another beautiful campout weekend spoiled by that dreaded thing called w-o-r-k! Unfortunately I will not be able to make this one. If it were at Rayford Crossing I might be able to commute since I will be working on Spring Cypress that weekend but Beaumont is just too far for that.

Charlie and Shirley, I'll add you to the list!

Barbara, I'm sorry you can't make it, but we'll be thinking about you at the casino.

Jay,
Pencil at least me in. I will see if Kelly and Cody can make it. I come off call Friday the 27th. I am attending a 3 day class the next week and was planning on taking the camper instead of staying at a hotel. Do you think there would be a problem me staying there until Wednesday? Do they stay pretty full? How is the new rig doing? You must be enjoying it and looking for places to take it. Take care.

Eddie, I'm pretty sure that there won't be a problem with you staying a few extra days, but I'll check. This park has been full since Katrina and Rita, but has plenty of spaces now.

The new rig is very nice, both Stella and I both have left-over storage space, hers inside and of course mine outside.

I'm dropping it off this weekend for some service work to be done, and am hoping that it is fixed soon.

Jay, pencil us in too pending my being able to handle the steps and bathroom in the rig by then. I just love to leave my money at the casinos in Louisiana. Ted would rather give it to the Allen Parish sheriff's department!!

Jay, Brenda just loves those casinos. So you had better include us in the shindig.

Bob and Darlene, I got you down!

Harry and JuJu, we're gonna miss you two in Beaumont. I'm sure the governor of Louisiana will call because you can't come over and drop some of your money in one of the casinos.
