Hi guys
Sandy and I are spending a couple of weeks circling Arkansas to see all the fall colors.

Got Wi-Fi today. We are now in Cotter and will be here two nights. I uploaded about 60 pictures from the first two days we were in Fayetteville. Some of the color is amazing, others are muted a little. Again, go to

http://www.flickr.com/photos/dutchnsandy/collections

and select the collection for this fall trip. There is one set in the collection so far to cover the last few days. Future pictures will be posted in the same collection but as a different set. That way the pictures won't all be in random order as they are in the first set. I'll come back and let you know when I upload more. Don't view using the slide show because you won't see the captions. Enjoy. Dutch

Hi again,
Another set of pictures is uploaded from around Mountain Home Arkansas. Still some good color, but overall it is not as good as Fayetteville was. Dutch

Shhhhhh. Please don't tell anyone else about our beautiful north central Arkansas. It's already too crowded. We live in the Norfork area southeast of Mountain Home and love it!

Aren't the fall colors beautiful? Try the Maple? cemetary in Harrison for an unbelievable view, and then on to Boxley Valley near Ponca, AR, for the most spectactular colors of all.

Heinz, I see that you are retired Army. I retired from ARMY Corps of Engineers, civilian, after 31 1/2 years. We have only been RVing for a few years, but spend a few weeks a year camping locally, then a couple of months for long trips. We'll spend January in the RGV, then back to Arkansas until a trip to Alaska, hopefully, in the summer. Lookin forward to meeting/seeing you all at one of our great state or COE parks.

Hi Heinz,
Just read your post. We go to Arkansas almost every year for the fall colors. Maybe we can cross paths next year. There is a good chance we will move to Tyler, TX in a couple of years. That will just make Arkansas closer.

Dutch, just checked out your picks from your fall trip and looks like you had a great time. Look forward to hearing the details at the Christmas rally.

When we lived in NE Oklahoma, we did the fall trip over into Arkansas and Missouri. If is sure beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice...you have to see it in person for the full beauty.
