After spending the New Year weekend at Rayford Crossing, I spoke to Gwen about coming up in February. She said that the park is going to "do something" for Valentines Day, but she was not sure right now what it was going to be.

Bob Wurch volunteered to bring his sound equipment again so that we can have a sock hop. We had a great time this weekend singing with the karaoke machine. You should have seen......well, I better not say anything!

Please add Judy & I to the "almost sure we're gonna be there" list. I still don't have a work schedule for that time period but I've got some confidence that I can "work around it." We sure don't want to miss it.

I just got some more good news. Due to a change of my work schedule, I will be off on Monday after our gathering and leave town for South Padre Island for a conference on Tuesday. Now I know it's gonna be a great weekend!

Harry & Judy, Gary & Ann, got you both down. Gwen contacted me about putting our sock hop on the park's calendar and I told her that it would be fine. The more the merrier I say.

Jay, put us down for February. When we go to Canasta this month we're going to tell the group we'll take our turn in April but put us on the sub list for the other months. Caping a whole weekend supersedes an evening of Canasta anyday.
