I'm looking for a Marina on a large lake that is centrally located where I can keep a 21' Walkaround Fishing boat.

Preferably below the Freeze/frost line, as I am now a cold weather whiner!, lol, and

prefer to be able to boat/fish anytime the spirit moves me as we travel to return to a central location.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Texas has lots of nice large lakes, so just open a map and pick one. In the Texas Hill country, I like Lake Buchanan, between Burnet and Llano. East Texas is Lake Sam Rayburn. North of Houston is Lake Livingston. On the west side on the Rio Grande is Amistad.

Thanks for your help.

I was hopeful that someone out there that does a lot of boating/fishing and traveling might have some personal information on a Marina that might shorten my search.

I have been searching online for Texas Marinas, etc and have not located "The One".

A few years back, I moored the boat in Palacios and enjoyed the bay and trips to Port O., but as we age, we are looking for a little more suttle fresh water environment, interpretation (I know my DW is nervous about salt water excursions now, but I still want her to enjoy the boating adventure without "fear", so if I can find a nice freshwater lake, she will continue to enjoy the experience for years to come.

I'll search for a Texas fishing forum and see what info I can find, in hindsight that's probably the second place I should have searched

Again, I appreciate your help.

Regards and Happy Trails!
