I got an email from Billy at Rayford Crossing asking about having a "casino" weekend at the park. Here is a copy of the email:

Hey Jay hows it going? I checked into the casino party for July 7th and it looks like we can work it out if enough people participate. We need about 60 people to make it worth while. I will see how many we can get together; any idea on how many you can get to come? The party would include 3-4 Blackjack tables/1-Craps table/1-Texas Hold-em and 1-Rouette all with dealers. It would be BYOB and everyone brings an appetizer with a $20.00 cover charge per person. This will be approximately 3 hours of playing time. We will hit the vendors and dealers and get together some prizes to be auctioned off in the end. Let me know ASAP so I can get everything booked. It should be alot of fun for everyone!

What do you think? Let me know and I'll get in touch with him.

Sounds like fun but I don't return from New York until July 8th. Any time I am in town I would be happy to attend anything at Rayford Crossing.

I talked to Billy again this past weekend about a gambling weekend. He said that with about 3-4 weeks notice he could set it up for us. He said that if we could get 30-40 folks together to gamble, there would probably be enough interest from other park residents to fill out the numbers to make it work. I was thinking about some time in the fall?
