There is another discussion her on IRV2 Here Asking where to visit. Cheri and I are going to Houston from the 17-19 Jan. We want to go to Galveston Island and NASA. We are looking for a campground close to or between both. Please let us know.

Thanks in advance.

There are three that come to mind. rayfords crossing @ Spring Tx ( exit 73) this puts you about 1.5 hours from Galveston and about 45-1 hour to Nasa area, of course depends on traffic. Oasis RV Resort, a new one @ exit 10 in LaMarque that is really close to both places and then there is Marina Bay RV Resort in Kemah that is close to all and also puts you at the Kemah Boardwalk. Hope this helps. There are some more in the area but these just come to mind.

http://www.marinabayrvresort.com and I could not find a web site for the Oasis but the phone number is 409-935-7101.
