I'll jump in here and give some prospective dates and locations for the South East (Houston) area gatherings for 2007.

We're already set for January in Cut N Shoot.

How about a Sweetheeart Gathering at Rayford Crossing in the Woodlands for February on the 16th-18, possibly the 19th for those that get President's Day off work.

We have been asked to do something in the Kemah Boardwalk area, so I was thinking that there is a nice park in Kemah, the Marina Bay RV Resort click Here We've been there before and the sites are pretty narrow, but it's a nice place for a weekend, and very close to the boardwalk. The weather should cooperate in March too. We can decide the exact dates later.

Just let me know if there is somewhere else you would like to go.

Jay, when I checked out the rally room last year I found it was really small. 10-12 people would be a real crowd. They were talking of building a larger room, so you might want to check it out.

Ron, thanks for the info. We stayed there last year, and didn't use the rally hall at all. We just sat around outside enjoying the weather, but we did try out the pool.

The best thing about this park is how close it is to the Kemah boardwalk.

Harry, I called that park once before and was told that they stay pretty well filled the year round with folks that live there. I'll give them another call and check on availability.

Thanks for all the work you do to arrange camping locations for us. I do it for another group and I know how much work is really involved.

Two other groups I am in already have campouts scheduled for the weekend of Feb. 16 - 18 so I won't be able to attend that one.

I love Kemah and this would be an ideal place for a gathering. The Rayford Sawdust place was nice and I really enjoyed the New Years Party but I would like to go someplace more than 15 minutes from home. Randee
