Greetings -

It is official that Jay and Stella Coffman are retiring as SE Area Leaders for the Texas Boomers RV Club. They are not retiring as Texas Boomers!

At the Christmas Rally in Boerne this past weekend, we held a mini-retirment bash for those unable to come to Houston for the Official Retirement Bash scheduled for March 20-22 at Rayford Crossing.

At that time, we'll send them off with our best wishes and appreciation for all their hard work over the past number of years in the SE area.

Everyone is now asking "who will take over in March when they retire in March?"

To put minds at rest, settle any concerns that may arise and lay the topic of discussion to bed, I want to make the following statement:

I have selected new SE Area leaders for the Texas Boomers RV Club, but their introduction will NOT be revealed until Sunday morning after Jay & Stella's official retirment on Saturday night, March 21st.

The reason for this is: until the 21st of March, Jay and Stella are still the active SE Area Leaders and our focus needs to be on honoring them for their dedication and committment to the Texas Boomers club and supporting them with the last few campouts they have planned before they hit the "open road".

After the Coffman's retirement bash on Saturday night, my plans are to have Jay and Stella (as well as the Allens and Rupps) to stand with me (at a short breakfast on Sunday morning) to welcome and introduce the new area leaders in a special ceremony.

Sandy
