Oh gosh, this is knowing as following the DW, but as time is starting to get short for the rally sign up, this is a bump!

As I'm leaving to find fame and fortune in the state of LA.(read casino trip) Thursday, this could be my last contact this week.

Best,

Well, Well, Well. I would love to take credit for this, but ....

Seems the Miller Creek RV Resort occasionally takes on Music Venues. And since the Boomers were going to be there, they hired a band. Fortunately, it is a modern County Band, the "Acoustic Floreplays". Hey, I did not name them .... It is free to us.

But, it seems we will be sharing our Potluck with others. They (Miller Creek) offer a Potluck for the whole park at 6:00 p.m. with music starting at 7:30. This might be a great time to expand our boomer group, meet new folks and listen to "Live" Music.

Otherwise, we make reservations!! What do you think? We have done it before and can eat outside our rigs weather acceptable.

If you want, check out the Miller Creek RV Resort website calendar.

Opps, Lost Rochkus. Sorry, hope you get to feeling better.

Pat and I will bring food yet to be determined for all the meals - looking forward to the party after a week of skiing in Tahoe.

Joining in with the other RV'ers there for the Sat Nite potluck and the live country band sounds like fun to us.

Kris,
We are not going to make it tomorrow as planned but will arrive around noon on Friday. Hope this is not a problem with the park.

Well I will admit I was sitting here waiting on you and Pat, but really glad they have WiFi, no TV Reception. Looking forward to tomorrow, the wind and rain should be gone by then. Hope everything is OK.

There is not a burn ban here.

And, My site has a fire ring and the best part, is there is free firewood. Cords, and Cords of it.

You can only have ground fire in the fire ring or an enclosed container. So we got both covered.

Now we will probably take the normal protective measures, Bob's famous hose trick. For those that were at Lake Medina.

See everyone tomorrow.

Thanks Kris,

I had pretty much parked the rig after Boerne and then went skiing and it just proved too much to do to get ready to come today. It is really stormy here with rain and very cold with a wind chill factor in the 30s. Hope it clears tomorrow. Hate to hook up and set up in the rain.

OK I'll bring tha far barrell but no wood. I think it is definitely gonna be cool enougn for a far each evening.

The weather was really bad getting here. The bottom dropped out in San Antonio around 2:00, fortunately by 3:30 when I left the rain had stopped, but the cold was setting in.

I had really rough winds coming in. Light rain. Some of the scarier moments were actually sitting at the stop lights while the rig swayed in the wind. I knew it was bad when I arrived and the Cat "Pita" was hiding under the couch.

Well Don, you and Bob should be arriving about the same time. See you tomorrow.
