Folks how does this sound to everyone?

6:30 PM Friday night May 2nd - let's have a "bring your favorite salad or dessert night" to share. It can be any type salad or dessert along with crakers etc. to go with the salad.

8:30 AM Sat morning - A pot luck breakfast. Bring a breakfast dish to share.

6:30 PM Saturday Night - Typical Boomers Pot Luck Supper. No sign up - we'll just eat what we bring.

9:00 AM Coffee & Pastries before we depart for home. Pat & I will furnish.

Don the pot luck breakfast sounds great. I think we will bring a chopped slimy pond lily salad with crispy snake skin croutons and buffalo snot dressing. We will bring something different if someone else has already signed up to bring this.

I'll have to check with the head chef when I get home and see what she thinks. However, I have one little suggestion, how about changing Sat morning to 9am instead of 8:30. I only get up that early for fishing, and this ain't FISHING.

Don, we've been so tied up with stuff I don't have a clue yet and I have to be out again next week. Spent this Friday and Sat at the race track and cathing a plane tomorrow. Let's just say we'll bring something for each of the meals and hope for the best. And keep your fingers crossed I don't have to go anywhere the week after next. It's getting to where we can't even plan a weekend any more.

Tom, you are letting that 4-letter word, WORK interfere with the other 4-letter word, PLAY .....Got to do something about that.

I had to fill up the truck today and was lucky to find a station that still had diesel for $4.01.9. Most in the area were ranging up to $4.19.9 and one Shell station must have had some really special diesel....it was $4.29.9

I may have to stop and do some pan-handling to get fuel to go to Thackerville.

Hey, just fill'er up and don't use it until time to go. I think everyone of my vehicles is without fuel tonight, the vette was doing pretty good until I ran it at Hallett motor racing circuit today, funny what a trip around a 1.8 mile road course will do to the fuel mileage. Must have something to do with a lead foot and WOT, thats "wide open throttle" for you other folks. I don't think I'm getting better than a gallon to the mile there.

Don, Judy and I were just discussing our contributions for the planned schedule. We are going to do a Dutch Oven dessert for Friday night. We'll have to figure out plans for Saturday breakfast and dinner but we have a little time for those.

On another subject, are you planning to have a "far"? I don't know if the CG permits such things. The reason that I ask is that we just finished another big tree cutting at our friend's house and have plenty of wood to share. Since I have to load it into the trunk of the Saturn, I'm not anxious to do that unless you are fairly certain to use it. I don't want to have to bring it home after I load it once. Just let me know. I'll gladly contribute.
